Testimonials

Some kind words offered by some of David’s previous clients:

Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing Chief Designer and modern and historic racer:

00-06“Motorsport is about development and the quest to reduce your lap time. Before you spend time, money and effort on improving your car I’d advise that you spend it on developing yourself, as improving your car will have the most benefit when you are able to extract the maximum from the package underneath you. To reach this level as a driver requires learning the correct skills and, like in any other sport, lots of practice.

Every driver will have a different technique and a different style of driving. In a proficient driver, their style is based on the core principles which have been developed over time. The drivers I work with in Formula 1 have spent their entire career’s improving their ability behind the wheel so they are all the finished article which means that we get to see the result of a development every time we put one on the car.

When I first started racing, David showed me these basic principals which gave me the foundation to go and develop as a driver which has allowed me to compete at the highest level at places such as the Le Mans 24hrs and the Goodwood Revival.”

Driving Skills Course Customer:

“I wanted to thank you and your team for a fabulous day. Being one on one with a VERY good coach David Hornsey (and I have had many) was of great value to me.”

Don Custerson:

David has accompanied me on many track days in my Aston Martin. His calm, logical and straightforward advice throughout has enhanced every one of them and I feel that I’ve made real progress towards getting the most from both the car and myself.

I’m still learning and still loving it. Thanks David.
